The first time I saw this hotel in OTA application, I immediately liked it because I like staying at a hotel that has a private pool. The pool is only for overnight guests, so it's more comfortable because it's not crowded. The private pool is on the hotel's rooftop, so I was more interested in staying there.
I stayed one night at this hotel and liked its ambience and environment. Although the parking area is not so large and the location is quite far from the city of Yogyakarta, this makes the atmosphere more calm. So, it is perfect for travellers seeking a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Here are my reasons why is Indoluxe Hotel Yogyakarta suitable for travellers?
1. Has a private pool on the rooftop
As a traveller who has tried many hotels, I find the existence of a private pool on the rooftop to be fun. We can enjoy a beautiful view of Yogya from the top of this private pool.
Indoluxe Hotel Yogyakarta is one of the hotels in Yogyakarta which has a private pool on the rooftop. Visitors can enjoy the pool from above on the 19th floor without being disturbed by the traffic of general guests. It's an infinity swimming pool.
2. Quiet atmosphere because the location is far from the crowd
One of the things I like about this hotel is that it is far from the crowd of traffic. Although the location is a bit far from the city centre of Jogja, the atmosphere is very comfortable and calm because it is not disturbed by the bustling vehicles passing by.

While enjoying the swimming pool up high, you can also enjoy the beautiful view from the top floor. While swimming, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Merapi. The fresh air, the beautiful sky view and the feeling of being close to nature.

In the afternoon, guests can swim to the 19th floor while enjoying the sunset. We can see the city of Yogyakarta, and the city lights start to twinkle at this hour, making the view even more beautiful.

During my stay from arrival to check out, the service offered by the hotel staff was very satisfying. Starting from the super fast check-in, room cleanliness, requests needed are fulfilled immediately, and others. All hotel staff were also very friendly and made me feel at home. I had no complaints at all while staying at this hotel.
7. Comfortable and clean room
Now, one of the considerations of whether or not a hotel is comfortable for me is its cleanliness. The room I stayed in was spotless, even under the bed.
My standard is whether the hotel is clean or not if under the bed is clean. I like to check under the bed. If it is clean, it means that hotel hospitality is being carried out. Because I once found a 4-star hotel under the bed full of dust.
8. Has rooftop skybar
In the evening, you can play at the rooftop sky bar, enjoying the beauty of Yogya from a height decorated with thousands of twinkling city lights that add to this hotel's cosy and calm atmosphere. There was no live music when I stayed, probably because it wasn't a weekend so I could finish my work peacefully at the Skybar. You can enjoy a beautiful view of Yogyakarta city from a height at night while enjoying a warm drink, wedang ronde or wedang jahe.
9. Variety and delicious food
One of the things I love about this hotel is the variety of food. The breakfast offerings varied and had delicious flavours that suited my taste buds.
10. Complete facilities
Besides having a private pool and a beautiful view, Indoluxe Hotel Yogyakarta has complete facilities that meet 5-star hotel standards. These include the rooftop sky bar, fitness centre, coffee and lounge, meeting room, massage and spa place, and other facilities that will make your stay easier.
Aside from the plus points, there were shortcomings based on my experience. These shortcomings may not be a problem for others, but they are uncomfortable for me.
1. Dark and less spacious parking lot
Incidentally, when I bought a vehicle, the parking area was not very wide and was rather dark. But this may not be a problem for those who don't bring a car.
2. wifi is not good
When I used the wifi to work, an error broke up the connection, disrupting my work process. It's always like this or only at certain times.
My Thought
Overall, I enjoyed staying at Indoluxe Hotel Yogyakarta. It is a very comfortable, clean, and modern hotel. If I'm asked for a rating, I give it 8.5 points. So, this hotel is recommended for staying when you go to Jogja with friends, couples, or even family.
